WHAT IS CARRIER OIL?

A special medium, the carrier oil , is used to dilute the high concentration of CBD. The vehicle, which is the carrier oil, is usually a vegetable oil that is used to make the CBD extract edible . With this, we can adjust the different concentrations (5%-10%-15%-20%), in addition, the oil increases the viscosity of the finished product, so it can be dispensed more easily using the dropper pipette.

Our cooperating partner, the Bagoila manufactory , is a family business in Komárom that started in the early 2000s. First, they started producing vegetable oil in connection with the feed industry, and then switched to the food industry line. The family environment has been preserved for the past 20 years, but today they make more than 60 different products from 18 types of raw materials , starting with flaxseed, hemp, black cumin, sea buckthorn and milk thistle. After conquering the Hungarian market, Bagoila did not stop there and set out on its way to conquer the world.

LONDON AND THE OSCARS OF FOOD

The Great Taste competition, which is also called the Oscar of food , is held every year in London. In 2023, more than 14,000 products from 109 countries around the world were entered. The so-called jury evaluates the products in a blind test, that is, they do not know who made it, they only have information about what the given product is made of, what it contains and what allergens it contains.

BagoilA's cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil was awarded three stars by a jury of approximately 500 people.

According to Roland Bagó, the managing director of BagoilA, the technology is otherwise very simple: the crop goes into the machine , from which the oil and fiber pellets come out. After that, nothing else happens to the oil, except that it is filtered to free it from mechanical impurities and then bottled.
"We have a few tricks to make our oil taste different from others, for example, we use only seeds without skins grown from Gleisdorf seeds , and we also add our love ," reveals the winner of the award known as the Oscar of food, the secret of their pumpkin seeds.

During production, they make sure to comply with all the rules of cold pressing, so the temperature of the oils they produce cannot exceed 40 degrees during pressing, which is why they can guarantee that all the valuable substances (vitamins, nutrients, trace elements, etc.) are preserved. Unlike many other manufacturers, they leave oil wax in almost all of their products, which contains a lot of vitamins.
